Working in conjunction with Mezzofilms, PECO were commissioned to create the 3D petals to composite into the beautifully shot commercial.
Taking the raw RED footage, PECO not only created the petals but also used HDR images to light the petal animations to make sure they looked as photo-realistic as possible.
Unfortunately we got them looking so good you didn't really notice them, so we had to take some of the motion blur and additional lighting back a little to make them stand out. So we didn't get it right first time, it looked too good!! not a bad confession really.
